The events in the Senate today are exactly why Nnamdi is winning the ideological battle. He has apparently looked at the Nigerian situation and the characters running it. Reports show that 222 out of the 300 Directors from Ministries, Departments and Agencies of the Federal Government MDAs, who sat for the examinations to fill the 20 vacant positions of Federal Permanent Secretaries, have failed. A magistrate court has struck out all charges against Joachim Iroko, the 41-year old Nigerian who named his dog, Buhari in 2016. O.O. Adebo, the chief magistrate, ruled that the prosecutor failed to substantiate its case against Iroko and thus cleared out all the charges against him on Tuesday in a Chief Magistrate’s Court in Sango-Otta. Premium Times reported. The case which spurred several controversies was reported to the police by one Haliru Umar from Sokoto State in August 2016 for breach of peace. He was accused of harbouring hatred for President Muhammadu Buhari and his arrest trended on social media with nationwide criticism. The British Government has expressed its readiness to invest in pipeline infrastructure, renewable energy, gas and power of the Nigerian oil and gas industry.
