May 30 Order: Nigeria Police Force Threatened To Deal With Biafra (IPOB), Sit At Home The Nigeria Police Force is on top gear over plans by Biafra agitators to shut markets and stage protests in southeastern Nigeria on 30 May. The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) and other groups have termed the day sit-at-home day to register their grievances with the Nigeria federal government. The police were deeply concerned with the security implications of the planned actions and urged the groups to shelve their plans in ”the interest of national security” said by Moshood Jimoh, the Force Public Relations officer .
