IPOB not a terrorist organization – Human Rights Group blasts Nigerian Military

Image
The Nigerian Human Rights Community (NHRC) has insisted that it is not within the jurisdiction of the military to declare the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) as a terrorist group. In a statement by Micheal Ajayi and Sanusi Suleiman, the group’s executive secretary, and middle belt coordinator, NHRC said the military should have made its findings and submitted to the National Assembly for consideration. “The ban on IPOB is likely to force the group underground. “It has foreclosed the prospect of negotiation which is an essential element of democracy and free speech,” the statement read. “We are not in a military regime. It is wrong for the military that should be under civilian authority to determine which organisation is a terrorist or not. “In a democracy, the military should have made its findings and submitted same to the national assembly for deliberations. “There is no basis to ban IPOB. The Nigerian constitution recognises the freedom of association. “Though

NIGERIA AND BIAFRA: The Evil of Igbo Politicians

Nigerian government, the military and the corrupt Igbo politicians should tell the world what is illegal in the agitation for Biafra so that the youth of the Eastern Nigeria will take it out. Agitation for Biafra is equal to good governance, good infrastructure, job opportunities, good educational system, good medical facilities and system, removal of corruption from the three tiers of government, and above all self-determinati on. This is what IPOB and the youth of the East are agitating for. Nigerian government and the grossly corrupt Igbo politicians have failed the people of the East. None of these politicians would win any election without rigging. Igbo politicians are agents of evil as they team up with Nigerian government to marginalise and oppress the people of the East. Igbo politicians and the Eastern governors are worse than the fulani herdsmen. They have economically killed more people than the fulani herdsmen killed in Benue Plateau and the east. Rochas policy on it

NBA SUPPORTS IPOB. SAYS CHALLENGE PROSCRIPTION - VP

Image
Vice President of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Monday Ubani has called on the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to challenge its proscription in a competent court of law. Ubani made the call while faulting the ruling of an Abuja Federal High Court declaring IPOB under the leadership of Nnamdi Kanu as a terrorist organisation. In a statement he issued on Thursday, Ubani said the ruling proscribing IPOB was lamentable because the group is not a registered entity in Nigeria. According to Ubani, “The ruling by the Federal High Court, Abuja on Wednesday shows that some of us were right when we said that the Nigerian military was wrong to have pronounced IPOB a terrorist organisation without following due process. According to Ubani, “The ruling by the Federal High Court, Abuja on Wednesday shows that some of us were right when we said that the Nigerian military was wrong to have pronounced IPOB a terrorist organisation without following due process. “It also showed that we were r

Biafra: The Nigerian Army's Spurious Declaration Of Indigenous People As Terrorists, Reason The World Powers Should Wake-up To Their Obligations

By Eluwa Chidiebere | For Biafra Writers September 21, 2017 Before an evil broadens, it must have a preparatory base. The ulterior motives (especially religious) of some evil men around the world harboured for many years are now hatching its eggs in Nigeria as I’m baring my forensic research on the state of Nigeria. I want to unequivocally say that this will envelope the whole world if the needful is not done timely. It may be Biafra’s problem now but later, it would be the world’s problem. I expect the world powers to know that there is power in number, and he who has the number can out-power a perceived super-power country and can even cause the unthinkable in the world. It is the religious ulterior motives of religious bigots around the world that is driving this trend of the killing of innocent Biafrans in Nigeria today. Once the Biafrans who are almost 100% Christians are defeated, Nigeria and Africa as a whole will be used as a base for fighting for the long-hatched ulterior

BIAFRA: Victory!!! Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB Has A Right To Freedom Of Expression – British Government Blows Hot, Shuts Up Lai Mohammed For Good.

Image
The Information Minister, Lai Mohammed, has vented his anger against the British Government, for allegedly frustrating efforts towards closing down Radio Biafra, which is sited in the United Kingdom, UK Lai Mohammed said this during a News Conference, held at the Presidential Villa, in Abuja, on Wednesday. Lai Mohammed however, decried that despite all the damage done by Radio Biafra, the British government was hiding under the right to freedom of expression. Who does not know that the IPOB internal radio is located in London? We know the diplomatic moves we have been taking and approaching the UK, all the damages it (Radio Biafra) has done, but they don’t see it that way; for them (the British government), it is about freedom of expression. If we have a person in Nigeria openly soliciting arms to come and fight the UK, what would you think of? Would you consider that freedom of expression? And this is a country that also has had a history, what did Iraq do to be label

In this interview with DAILY POST, the outspoken Uko opens up on the momentous occurrences in south-eastern Nigeria in recent times, including the military adventure tagged Operation Python Dance II, it’s attack on Igbo people, and other pressing national issues. EXCERPTS: You are in the centre of the vortex, in the midst of all these happenings in the south-east in recent weeks.. can you tell us what is going on in the south-east? Thank you. My dear brother, I’ve refrained from giving interviews for close to 2 years now.
