Ebonyi Shuts Down Over Kanu’s Visit

The visit of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra(IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu on Monday, to Ebonyi State has led to a total shutdown of markets and banks including government house, even as other economic activities were paralyzed.

Kanu in his visit moved around the major streets of Abakaliki including the Ebonyi State police command headquarters gate and attracted the attention of all the citizens in the state who are doing their businesses.

At the time of filling this report, the police are in company of the supporters to avoid break down of law and order.
