Ortom Tells FG, Let Citizens Carry AK-47 and protect Themselves
The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom, on the 12th of August Wednesday 2020 asked the Federal Government of Buhari to allow the citizens to carry AK-47 rifles or any type of weapon to defend themselves in these insecurity in the country The statement read: “Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has urged the Federal Government to grant licences to responsible citizens to carry sophisticated weapons such as AK-47 to deter criminals from attacking innocent and helpless Nigerians.
