Tension!!! President Buhari Receives 48-Hours Ultimatum, As The Entire South-East Region Set To Be Shutdown, Over The Alleged Death Of Nnamdi Kanu
Emerging report has it that the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, is determined to shutdown the entire South-East, over the alleged death of Nnamdi Kanu.
The proscribed group on Wednesday, insisted that President Muhammadu Buhari must in the next 48-hours, tell Nigerians what he did with its Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, if he (Kanu) was no longer alive.
The group had since the alleged attack on Kanu’s home on 14th September, declared Kanu and his parents missing; insisting that they were abducted by men of the Nigerian Army, who invaded his compound on the order of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen Tukur Buratai.
IPOB said it fears that its Leader and his parents may have been harmed, while in the custody of the Nigerian Army.
A press release made by the Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Mr Emma Powerful, called for the urgent attention of the United Nations, UN, to prevail on Buhari and Lt. Gen. Buratai, to produce Nnamdi Kanu or tell the world what has become of him.
The release said: “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who incidentally holds British citizenship, has been missing since a detachment of exclusively Northern Islamic Officers stormed his residence, on Thursday, 14th September, 2017.
“Ever since the brutal assault that left 28 people dead inside his compound, including two of his cousins, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu along with his parents, His Royal Majesty Eze Sir Israel Kanu and Ugoeze Sally Nmeme Kanu, have not been seen.”
The group said the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, can twist facts as much as he likes, but the fact remained that somebody somewhere ordered the unprovoked Military invasion of Kanu’s house, where hundreds of rounds of bullets were discharged, and at least 28 people killed.
