Military Invasion: Biafra Writers Decries Illegal Arrest And Detention Of IPOB Civilians In Abia, Calls For Their Immediate Release

It has been one hell of a week or two since the orchestrated plans to eliminate Biafrans unjustly began— stage-managed by the Nigerian government through its undemocratic and murderous military.
Prior to launching the ostensible "show of force", anti-kidnapping, anti-armed banditry, et al, that was codenamed "Operation Python Dance II", we surmised that the aftermath of the purported operation is never a far cry from the accustomed decimation and elimination of the indigenous people of Biafra.
Resultantly, the usurpation and military occupation of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's residence, and some regions in Biafraland by the sanguinary, Gestapo Nigerian army; ensued a mow down of about three scores [60] of unarmed Biafrans (a number of them are lying in gory operations and in Intensive care units). Besides that, 163 persons and still counting are nowhere to be found (whether dead or alive, only heaven knows).
To a great degree, we have been able to apprehend a good number of lion-like Biafrans that are illicitly detained and confined in different prisons, precisely in Abia State.

It is disheartening to understand that despite being detained, they were gruesomely manhandled and tortured, thus inflicting copious pains and injuries on them. As if that was not enough, they were denied food and medical attention. What a devil!
We deem it exigent to put at the disposal of the Nigerian government and its army, the legal dictums of her constitution. It is therefore prudent to remind the general public, and the world at large that the existing legal interpretations of the provisions of the constitution of Nigeria, vis-a-vis the inalienable and fundamental human rights, as stipulated in CH4 - sections 38, 39, 40, gives the nod to freedom of thought (belief), freedom of expression and freedom of association/assembly.
How could a supposed democratic state as Nigeria, outflank with impunity, its elements (the constitution) of democracy? No doubt that Nigeria has proven to be championing a despotic or dictatorial system of government.
The illicit detention of these "Prisoners of conscience" is not only in violation of the principles of liberty but infringes on the privileges of the constitutionally guaranteed human rights provisions. Hence, we call upon the Human Rights defenders and conscientious persons to be wary of the beleaguering situation in Biafraland, and the targeted decimation of Biafrans by the Nigerian army, spearheaded by the Buhari-led government.
While justice prevails, we demand the safety and immediate release of the aforementioned prisoners of conscience in Abia State and others who have been whisked away to different secret cells. They have committed no crime other than seeking their lawful, inalienable rights to Self-determination (as indigenous people), embodied in Article 1 of United Nations (UN) Charter, also enshrined in the International law and adopted by the African Union.
To all Biafrans, I charge you to remain undeterred; even in the face of glaring intimidation, subjugation and onslaught of our people. Like Thomas Jefferson would say, "I prefer the tumult of liberty to the quiet of servitude." A popular saying also goes: "When the going gets tougher, tough men get going." Therefore, remain more than ever tenacious. Be valiant! We have gone too far to have a rethink. The status quo remains BIAFRA OR DEATH — give us Biafra or you extinguish our race in toto.
In the not-too-distant future, you shall hear the sounds of blowing trumpets, you shall behold the gleaming sun rising (from) behind the cloud; while the flag shall be flown on mountain tops.
ONE DAY, ONE DAY WE SHALL BE FREE.
