Nnamdi Kanu led in the poll with many votes, which made him the only one in the standings. “Diplomatically leads a pro-independence group without any record of violence, Enlightens the masses on human rights and political issues in Africa, Most vocal activist in Africa,”  Africa   Guardian  said, announcing that the IPOB leader won the ‘Africa Guardian’s Man of the year award.’
