Nigerian soldiers and army commander killed by Islamic State

The Islamic State in West Africa (ISWA) laid claim on wednesday`s attack on the Nigerian Soldiers of  the 158 Battalion in Borno State, according to a statement from the terrorist organization they claimed being responsible.

 The  Islamic State stormed the battalion in Kareto on wednesday evening, killing more than 20 soldiers including a lieutenant colonel being commander of the battalion, ISWA, an offshoot of Boko Haram, claimed credits for the killing of more than 20 soldiersin the so called as reported by Reuters.

 Boko Haram and ISWA consistently target military bases and installations in recent months, killing more than 5000 soldiers since Buhari took over the governance of Nigeria or since 2015.

 And the Defense Headquarters has not even acknowledged the attack of the battalion and the death of the commander nor commented of it
