Senate mandates Buhari to sack of Dambazau, Malami


The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday mandated President Muhammadu Buhari to bring those behind the reinstatement of the former chairman of Presidential Task Team on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina,‎ to book without further delay.
The lawmakers mentioned the Attorney-General of the Federation, AGF, and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami as well as the Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazau, as being behind the development. They are consequently demanding for their immediate sack.
Members of the Red Chambers frowned at the recall of Maina, saying President Buhari’s government has been hijacked by powerful forces who do not want the All Progressives Congress, APC, led government to do well.

Minna NNPC Depot Goes Up In Flames

PARIS, JULY 9, 2018: (DGW) Fire gutted a section of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) in Pogo village, Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger on Sunday with fire service officials still trying to put out the fire. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Niger Police Command on Sunday had deployed armed personnel to prevent people from scooping petroleum products at the NNPC pipeline that exploded in Dagbo community, Paikoro Local Government Area. The Commissioner of Police in Niger, Mr Dibal Yakadi, said that deployment became necessary in view of the lightening that occurred following a downpour on Saturday night which led to the explosion of NNPC’s pipeline in the area. DSS Trying To Infect Nnamdi Kanu With Tuberculosis In Solitary Confinement

  Mazi Nnamdi Kanu t he leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, told one of his  lawyers Aloy Ejimakor,  that he  is bleeding through the nose after coming in contact with a tuberculosis patient in the detention of the Department of State Services.  According to a tweet he made on Monday, on his twitter handle and as follow, aloy ejimakor @AloyEjimakor Today, my associate, Barr Mandela met with Onyendu #MNK at the DSS. He reports that MNK directed me to make it public that he had an episode of profuse nose-bleed yesterday & that the DSS has transferred a detainee diagnosed with tuberculosis to his cell block.
