Scrapping CRK In Schools: ‘Christians Need To Rise Up Against Buhari – Apostle Suleman President of the Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Johnson Suleman has expressed outrage at the removal of Christian Religious Knowledge (CRK) as a subject of study from the secondary school curriculum, describing it as a move to Islamise Nigeria. The cleric in statement issued on Sunday, June 18, 2017 by Phrank Shaibu, his communications manager, stated that President Muhammadu Buhari by this new policy has confirmed that he was out to Islamise the country soon after being sworn in on May 29, 2015. According to him, the decision to scrap CRK as a subject in the curriculum but only to be studied as a theme in civic education while leaving Islamic/Arabic studies as a subject to be studied in the secondary school curriculum is a deliberate plot by the Buhari administration, among other schemes to eliminate Christianity or at best reduce it to insignificance in Nigeria. “The new curriculum wh...

Where Exactly Can Nigerians Find President Muhammadu Buhari   –   FFK Nigerians have for too long been kept in the dark regarding President Muhammadu Buhari’s health, sadly not many questions have been asked. In this piece by Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, the former aviation minister poses questions regarding Buhari’s health status, and he infers that there is a great chance that the president may already been dead, while the FG continues to toil with the minds of the masses. Most columnists, writers and public commentators have shied away from doing so but today yours truly will treat a matter and pose a question that is in the hearts and minds of many both within and outside Nigeria. The question is whether President Muhammadu Buhari (remember him?) is actually dead or still alive. And, assuming that he is still alive, is he lost to the world in a vegetative state and deep coma, is he suffering from an extreeme and crippling form of dementia or is he lucid, functional, r...

NIGERIA MUST BREAK-UP WHETHER THEY LIKE IT OR NOT – OGBONNA   The National Chairman of the Peoples Progressive Party (PPP), Dr Damian Uzoma Ogbonna, has said that Nigeria will eventually break-up whether any body like it or not. According to him, It is only the privileged people who are in top positions that might think otherwise. The only way oppression leads to is anarchy or separation. When I say oppression that is the obstinacy and lack of discernment of those in power and absolute open antagonism to the debate on restructuring. Nigeria is going to be divided whether they like it or not. You see, you cannot hold down the liberty and freedom of people forever. There comes a time when they have to throw away that yoke. History told us about this, Britain over hundreds of years were on this oppression and ruled over various nations all over the world, they were forced to go. The wheel of progressive independence of states moved without much hitch. As an ...

We Will Support Them To Achieve Biafra – Northern Elders Spokesman, Ango Abdullahi A former Vice-Chancellor of the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, has declared that he has freedom of speech and can utter anything he likes. He said this in an interview with the Punch over his backing of the ultimatum by Arewa youths that Igbos should leave the North on or before October 1, 2017. Abdullahi, who is the spokesperson for the Northern Elders Forum, insists Nigeria has been divided for a long time and that his comment did not just cause that. “The country had already been polarised. It is already polarised. Well, maybe it added another dimension to the polarisation but the country had been polarised. As far as I am concerned, the country has been polarised for a long time. “Am I too important not to be arrested if I have committed an offence? If I have committed a crime; of course, why not? It is also an opinion; some people may wish me dead...

WWE Staff Forced To Shoot Aggressive Wrestler After Child Climbs Into Steel Cage INDIANAPOLIS—Saying they were left with no other choice given the imminent peril of the situation, World Wrestling Entertainment officials confirmed they were forced to kill one of their own stars Friday when a 7-year-old boy wandered into the steel cage enclosure of an aggressive wrestler. Any dialogue with Nigerian Government without documented date for referendum is an exercise in futility - IPOB Warns Igbo Elders The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), on Thursday, condemned the meeting of Igbo landers with the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, describing it as ‘a gathering of a few compromised political jobbers from core Igbo states of Biafraland’. IPOB noted that its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, has made it abundantly clear that any discussion or dialogue with the Nigerian Government that did not include an agreement on a referendum date to determine the issue of Biafra would be considered an exercise in futility. Media and Publicity Secretary of IPOB, Emma Powerful, in a statement, said that IPOB viewed the meeting with certain Igbo politicians who were sympathetic to APC as an insult to the sensibilities of Biafrans all over the world, especially the memory of the dead and injured. The statement read in part: “This meeting we understand was convened at the instigatio...
